HOUSE to HOUSE - FURNISHINGS CONSIGNMENT
CONSIGNMENT POLICY
        
Our consignors receive 50% from the proceeds of any items sold.  House to House retains 50%.   
We'll evaluate your items for consignment and accept those items we believe will sell.   All items should arrive at our shop in “display-ready”  condition.   For more information, see  What We Accept for Sale and Tips for Consignors.
 
We'll price your merchandise, and display it on our sales floor for a required minimum of 90 days. Prices will be reduced by 20% (off the previous price) every 30 days and will also be subject to promotional discounts at the discretion of the Shop. 
 
We pay consignors once a month for items sold during the prior month.  You may elect to receive payment for your sales in one of the following ways: (i) mail for a nominal charge, (ii) shop pickup; (iii) purchase credit; or (iv) cash (cash payments limited to balances of $15 or less).
 
Consignors may retrieve unsold items after 90 days. We consider merchandise not retrieved after 120 days abandoned - abandoned items become the property of the shop and will be donated, sold or otherwise disposed of at the Shop's discretion. 
 
Please understand that we don't want to own your items, but our space is limited. We need to be able to move  unsold pieces through the shop to make room for new merchandise.  
 
Once we’ve agreed to accept your items on consignment, we'll ask you to sign our Consignment Agreement which puts our consignment policy in the form of a contract.
